Welcome BURDies to the Bal Urja Rakshak Dal (BURD) website.

The BURD is a unique social change programme that aims to create an Energy Wise Gujarat. 

As the name BURD suggests we are an army of children dedicated to the task of conserving-safeguarding energy. We will ensure that energy is used to dispel darkness and bring prosperity to everyone’s lives.

  Children are the real 'Movers and Shakers' of this programme but we want BURD to be a 'people’s programme'- so that each citizen lives by the BURD Mission.

To many our goal may sound like Mission Impossible, but not for us 'Power KIDS' ,  not when we have a Mission Statement

We have lived by the Rakshak Action from 2004-2009.
